I thought, from the inspiration quick tour, this would've been great and something to have when i was in grade school. Inspiration seems like a neat fun tool to use. It interested me especially because you didn't have to do a diagram and an out line it did both for you. I could use inspiration in my class room to show students how you can transition from a diagram or little notes all over paper to and organized outline of your findings. I would want to use it because so much time wouldn't be spent writing down the same things over and over, more time could be dedicated to the actual study of the subject.
I believe research over a variety of topics would have use for technology in my class room. I also feel creative writing could be explored through technology. For example, letting the students pick a topic of interest and how they want to present a visual along with thier written findings. As a student, I know how intimidating it can be to have some professional editing your paper. I feel student revision builds confidence for the revisor and the person that is receiving revisions. The notes don't seem as far fetched and over the top as it can be with the teacher. technology tools for one, may help to keep the editing from another more positive. seeing someone scratch out stuff and rewrite over your original writing can come off as negative. I know I like it better if someone would highlight my mistake and put a note to the side. with inspration this would be easy to do.
